7-1-7 Approach Regional Training Workshop

From August 19-22, 2024, the U.S. CDC, 7-1-7 Alliance, and IANPHI (Emory University) hosted the 7-1-7 Approach South East Asia Regional Training at Holiday Inn Bangkok Silom.

The workshop welcomed 42 healthcare professionals and epidemiologists from 10 countries to enhance public health response systems. Over four days, participants explored the 7-1-7 approach through simulations, group exercises, and country-specific discussions, applying the theory to practical steps for implementation.

The workshop fostered regional collaboration, supported national planning integration, and identified technical assistance needs, equipping attendees with the tools to strengthen public health security across the region.
